My role : UX Designer collaborating with 2 other designers on the project team.

As a core member of the Research Team, I was responsible for driving the end-to-end research process, ensuring that all actionable insights were delivered directly to the client and effectively transferred to the UI team for design implementation. This focused work was completed alongside two UX designers within a one-month sprint.

1448 Agency is a Canberra-based firm that provides business-led delivery and transformation services, primarily to government clients. The agency intends to rebrand its website, which is the reason this project was initiated.

To make sure we covered all our bases—from first discovering the core user issues to delivering a viable solution—I anchored the entire project within the robust Double Diamond framework.

I kicked things off by diving deep into the problem space, starting with a Heuristics Evaluation and a Competitor Analysis to understand the current landscape and existing usability failures.

I followed this up by gathering primary data through User Interviews, which I then synthesized using Affinity Mapping to find clear patterns.

These insights helped us frame the central challenges as focused 'How Might We' statements.

Finally, I moved into solution space by defining the core user through Personas and mapping their interaction with the product via a User Journey before tackling the Information Architecture.
